Fabulous necklaces don't have to be signed to be wonderful! Many of the best pieces of jewelry are unsigned, and who cares WHAT something says or doesn't say if it is a gorgeous piece.

Description: Cross Pendant Necklace with Multi Jeweltone Rhinestones - Rhinestone colors of capri, emerald, amethyst, siam, topaz, and smoked topaz are prong/multi-prong set into this cross, I count a total of 54 stones! Cross itself, including bail, measures almost 4" x 2 1/4", twist chain is 22.5" x 3.5mm, spring ring clasp. Excellent quality and condition. Description: Enameled Metal Floral and Rhinestone Necklace -This kind of 1940's primitive look reminds me of some Haskell designs but I am in no way incinuating that this is a Haskell piece. It is simply a great statement necklace, using 5 florals with brown enameled petals, a dentelle cut topaz colored rhinestone, multi-prong set, green enamel accent leaves, and a goldtone heavier style chain with foldover clasp. Foldover clasp shows plate wear (see photo) but the rest of the chain is in good shape. Enamel on florals is very good with just a few miniscule dings and a little edge wear. Green leaves show more wear but are still good (leaves are actually silvertone!). I believe this is mid-40's based on the fact that while the topaz rhinestones are fancy cut, they feel like the plastic stones used when glass stones were no longer available. 15 3/4" length, center flower is 1 1/2" at widest point. Description: Jonquil Yellow Shoebutton Pendant Necklace with Black Enameled Leaves - Occasionally I see these attributed as early Trifari (kTf), but while this is similar to a patented Trifari design, it is not the same, just an "of the time" copy with enough changes to avoid patent infringement. Seven light yellow cabochons are centered with clear rhinestones, with more tiny rhinestones in the surrounding metal frame, and topped with two silvertone leaves that have been enameled black whilst leaving the veins bare so they can be seen. Silvertone chain is about 18", pendant portion is 2" x 1 1/2". This is approximately 75 years old, and the rhinestones in the surrounding metal have various amounts of greying as would be expected of a piece of this age. Other than that I see no problems. Description: Scalloped Link Necklace in Light Sapphire Blue Rhinestones - Fourteen curved links make this necklace fit nicely if you have a small (approx. 13 1/2") neck. Each link has four light blue rhinestones, centered with a slightly more intense blue square that is set at an angle to the link. Description: Antiqued Silvertone Floral Necklace with Jonquil, Aqua and Dark Blue Rhinestones - Lovely floral motif has paste set rounds and marquises in light yellow, aqua and dark blue rhinestones. The side chain is also not a common one, at first I thought it was perhaps a replacement chain, but I have seen the exact same necklace in multi pastel/goldtone, and this is the same chain and same tail weight. Description: Aurora Borealis Rhinestone and Bead Three Strand Necklace - This necklace has it all - a graduating rhinestone and bead dangling center, a fancy rhinestone set push-in clasp, and a triple chain of a center aurora borealis bead chain between two goldtone ropetwist mesh strands. The beads are 6 sided barrels, with goldtone crimp bead spacers. Tiny details show that this was a better than average quality piece, and it is in excellent condition, with only slight wear to the goldtone ropetwist on a few spots at the back. Description: Haskellesque Asymmetrical Pendant Necklace - Double filigree, wired-on roses montees, baroque and seed glass pearls, two styles of chain - sounds like Haskell, but put this in the "not sure" pile. Description: Long Aqua/Opaque Pink/Glass Pearl Necklace - This will remain a mystery but my hunch is that this is unsigned Haskell. This came to me with no clasp (endless strand), though there was a point at which the colors repeated instead of alternating, leading me to assume the clasp had been removed (and I have replaced with a thumbless spring ring clasp.) The original pearls were all 11mm baroque pearls in a dark cream, unfortunately all the pearlesence had fallen off, so it was my task to replace all of them, which I had to do with a regular glass pearl rather than baroques as they are not to be found in that size/color. Each station uses a brass "gothic" endcap that is set will clear rhinestones, certainly not the average endcap. Approximately 30" long and in excellent restored condition. Description: Peking Glass Locket Necklace - Victorian revival pieces became very popular in the late 1930's and early 1940's, thanks to "costume drama" movies such as Gone with the Wind, Juarez, Jezebel, Pride and Prejudice, Little Women, etc., etc. This piece uses a mottled green glass stone on both the locket and at the clasp, with the locket and chain also set with small glass pearls (much of the pearl essence has worn off of these). Raised design on front of locket; back has a floral pattern. Inside of locket shows no wear, I don't believe it was ever used. Heavy chain has nice patina, 16", push in clasp. Description: Clear Rhinestone Chain Criss-Cross Necklace - Flattering 1950's look features 5 rows of clear rhinestones soldered into a criss-cross pattern that gives the effect of a very sparkly lariat. Description: Grape Motif Pendant Necklace with Glass Pearls/Rhinestones - This looks like Coro but no markings. Pendant is made of large 9mm glass no-hole pearls that have turned a beautiful shade of dark cream with time. Grape leaf is rhinestone set. Silvertone, pendant measures 2 3/8" x 1 3/4"; chain is not original, and is contemporary but seems to go nicely with the pendant. Chain is adjustable from 17" to a little over 20". Description: Bogoff Style Clear Rhinestone Necklace - Link style necklace with 16 triangular links set with a sparkling 6mm dentelle, with small rounds on either side and a slightly larger round at the point. Ends are the usual hook and rhinestone set tail, ending with a huge dentelle at the end that Bogoff would have used. Oddly, the back of the huge ending dentelle, where the signature is usually found, is open backed. The necklace extends to a maximum length of 17". Description: Goldtone Sawtooth Necklace with Dangling Beads - Okay, what to call this - it's not mesh, but similar, with goldtone pseudo stones linked with jump rings into a v'd or triangular pattern, all connected at the top with a fine goldtone chain. I added the onyx dangling beads years ago, you may wish to replace with something else or just wear without dangles; you could conceivably hang something from every ring along the bottom edge if you wanted to! Description: Chalk White and Clear Rhinestone Bib Style Necklace - A pretty mix of opaque white beads and cabochon rounds, with clear rhinestones and a single opaque white diamond-shaped cabochon at the center front. Description: Black and Clear Rhinestone Necklace - All prong set stones, with all black stone "chain" section from which hangs clear rhinestone festoon and a black and clear rhinestone centerpiece, with a larger center oval black stone. Description: Haskellesque Necklace in Aqua/Gold/Cream/Pink - I am not certain that this is a Haskell piece, but whatever company that made it was certainly going for that same look. Pendant portion is done with mottled aqua colored beads, roses montees, baroque glass pearls, what appear to be genuine pieces of shell, and small pink and opaque turquoise beads, handwired to two metal pieces, which are attached to a double filigree. Double strand beaded chains are done in gold and cream baroque glass pearls, mottled aqua beads, rhinestone rondelles, and faceted brass spacer beads. Adjustable hook and tail closure, with each side of the brass terminals having small glass pearls handwired into a floral shape. Pendant is 1 3/4" x 1 1/2", and 3/4" deep. Maximum adjustable length is about 15". This came to me with the metal faceted spacers being verdigried, so I took the strand apart, soaked the spacers, and restrung on silk. Some of the pearls are worn on the ends where they rub on the metallic spacers, and the two pearls on the extension are in poor shape, but for this type of piece this is in marvelous restored condition. Description: Quality Multi Topaz/Aurora Borealis Rhinestone Necklace -This is the kind of rhinestone necklace that wasn't common "back in the day" and is even less so now. Golden topaz rhinestones are used for both the chain and the larger accent rounds, with smokey topaz rhinestone marquises and a central large pear providing the color focus, with crescent moon shaped cast pieces set with aurora borealis stones to complete the design. Description: Brown Lucite Victorian Revival Necklace with Topaz Rhinestones and Small Glass Pearls - Got a scoop-necked top that needs a necklace with brown? This intriguing circa 1940's piece has three unusual brown lucite "cabochons" in antique looking settings, with two topaz colored rhinestones at N-S on each link and small glass pearls at E-W on the center link, W on the left link and E on the right link. Antiqued brass setting with double link chains and a fairly elaborate foldover clasp. Necklace measures approximately 17". One link on the necklace seems to be frozen and may be a factory flaw, but is almost undetectable when worn. Nice weight, great piece.

Description: Unusual Aqua Moonstone/Rhinestone Bib Necklace - As a longtime collector of faux moonstone pieces, this is the only one I have ever seen with aqua faux moonstones. This is a very wearable piece, with just enough aqua rhinestones for a little sparkle, and oval cabochons for a little more casual feel. About 1 3/8" at the wide points, this has been modified by the previous owner to accomodate a 17 1/2" neck (without the added chain this would fit about a 14 1/2" neck.) The additional chain could easily be removed but I am leaving this conversion as is for those who need the additional length or like it to drape down longer than a choker length, unless you would like me to remove it. Description: Haskellesque Black Diamond Crystal and Cream Glass Pearl Necklace - While I don't believe this is Haskell, it certainly looks like someone was trying to emulate her style - Jonne? Robert? DeMario? Eugene? Czech crystal beads in grey are held in place by rhinestone headpins, and interwoven with rhinestone balls, pave set cast metal pieces and cream colored round pearls also held by rhinestone headpins. This forms a kind of floral design with one going up and one going down. All appears to be handwired to a double filigree finding. Chain portion is a double row, one of grey crystal and one of cream glass pearls. Adjustable dog collar will accomodate up to a 15 1/2" neck. Pearls along the strand are worn, particularly at the back of the neck where they would have rubbed, but the wear is pretty difficult to see unless you are closer than 6". Pearls in the centerpiece are in pretty good shape except for the back of the top one, where it would have rubbed. The underside of the rhinestone headpins show a little verdigris. Still, in very good original vintage condition for this type of piece. I saw the matching bracelet on a well known website a few years ago, which sold for well over $200. Description: Light and Dark Topaz Glass and Glass Baroque Pearl Bib Necklace - Fabulous, impressive piece. Unfoiled glass elongated octagons are set in ribbed goldtone frames, and alternate light and dark topaz. Suspended from pval baroque pearls at the top and almost cube shaped baroque pearls hang from the bottom, held in place by goldtone endcaps. From the adjustable tail in back hangs a double-sided starfish. This looks somewhat like Haskell but the hook isn't Haskell type (maybe a replacement?) and the starfish doesn't look like any Haskell components I have seen. Pearls at upper part of necklace are quite worn; bottom pearls show wear, also, but not as much. Very slight verdigris on a couple of the endcaps. Otherwise, I can find no fault with the glass or metal pieces, and all seems to be there. Description: Unsigned Haskell? Wood and Silk Cord Necklace - This is a fun to wear necklace that works well almost any time of year. Dark green silk cord is done in a modified bib with graduating wood beads and green sequins. Closure is a button thru a loop, with the hand sewing decorated, both inside and out, with more green sequins (only Haskell seems to have done this type of labor, using components in places both seen and unseen.) Wood beads are held in place with small fluted brass endcaps on both top and bottom. Silk cord is the type used by Haskell. Originally this had 13 rather than 12 dangles; one was damaged when I received it so I removed it. Other than some wear darkening on the silk cord I see no other issues. 16" when clasped. Description: Two Strand Necklace with Frosted White and Aurora Borealis Beads - This looks for all the world like Vendome but no signature. Oblong frosted glass also has some white "splatter" patterns on them; these alternate with crystal aurora borealis beads and triangular goldtone beads that look like crimp beads on steroids. Description: New Old Stock Pendant Necklaces - Vintage Glass - Very "moderne" looking pendants with vintage glass. Olive green and topaz necklace use inverted "v" setting, while yellow-blue bi-colored piece uses the same frame without the "v". Chains are contemporary, 16" goldtone chains. Description: Taupe and Lime Green Enamel and Glass Necklace - Lovely soft colors make this flattering necklace a joy to wear. Transparent glass beads have a taupe-brown swirl that appears to be right under the surface. These alternate with frosted, aurora borealis and carmel bicone beads. Endcaps are enameled metal in the same soft brown, and the metal spacer end caps that look like the bottom part of a flower are done in a lime green that adds just enough color to keep this from looking dull. Description: Unsigned All Handwired Glass Bead Necklace - This is an amazing example of workmanship done in a floral motif, using chalk white, frosted clear and emerald green glass leaf beads. The frosted clear glass has been formed into flowers with a prong-set clear rhinestone wired in like a roses montee, except that it isn't flat-backed. Series of leaves have been separated by clusters of chalk white beads. Link chain is done by alternating a different chalk white bead alternated with the frosted bead. Adjustable up to about 16". Description: Green and Frosted Clear Bead Necklace - This piece features gorgeous emerald green and clear glass beads that look almost like handblown glass "pears" in the center section, with frosted and pearlized clear beads and various emerald green round and seed beads making up the chain sections.
