Description: West Germany Pink Cab Earrings - Typical W. Germany pieces, these use a lucious pink faux moonstone cab, with two small white glass pearls, a fuchsia rhinestone and pink translucent enameling, all in goldtone. About 1" x 7/8" x 1/2" deep at the cabochon. I see no flaws here. Circa early 1950's.

Description: Richelieu Glass Pearl/Rhinestone Brooch - Shiny goldtone setting, with quality glass pearls accented with lines of clear rhinestones on the bow of this "bouquet" brooch. 2 1/8" x 1 1/8", mint condition.

•••

Description: Joseph Warner Domed Brooch in Black Diamond and Light Colorado Topaz Rhinestones - Set in goldtone, this is a very contemporary looking color combination for a piece that is probably from the late 1950's. Set with two sizes of black diamond pears and a large amount of small rounds, all prong set, this has a domed top set over a four-part domed bottom. Pinstem is set so that pears form an "X:" instead of a cross. Extremely well made and quality piece, this was difficult to photo and needs to be seen in person to be fully appreciated. Approximately 2 1/2" in diameter and almost 1" deep! Excellent condition.

Item: SP14-1321

Price: $135.00 US

•••

Description: Swarovski (Swan Mark) Cupid/Angel Riding on a Shooting Star - Matte goldtone with clear rhinestones, the star rhinestone is a rivoli (pointed center) style. I have not seen very many pieces by the Swarovski Company with this matte finish. 2 1/4" x 1 3/8", quite 3-D. Excellent condition. The clear stones are fine, I don't know why they photoed blue.

Item: SP14-1335

Price: $45.00 US

•••

Description: Swarovski (Swan Mark) Entwined Two-Tone Hearts Brooch - 1 5/8" x 1 1/8", larger silvertone and smaller goldtone open hearts, all pave set. Lovely sentiment, excellent condition.

Item: SP14-1334

Price: $29.50 US

•••

Description: Swarovski (Swan Mark) Swan Tac Pins - Apparently these were given out as gifts to attendees at the 2002 Isadora event. Centered with a marquise rhienstone and surrounded with small clears, the left pin has red eye and marquise and a darkened silvertone setting; the right one has light blue eye and marquise and is in regular silvertone. I tried to get a picture of the swan mark but it was so small that I couldn't get it to be seen. Excellent condition, about 7/8" x 5/8". Price is for the pair.

Item: STP14-1333

Price: $25.00/pr. US

•••

Description: Swarovski (Swan Mark) Mask Tac Pins - Apparently these originally were called "My Masquerade" and were came in either red or green. These use the green enameling and two green marquises in each, with clear rhinestone pave all around. Goldtone, about 1" x 1/2", excellent condition. Price is for the pair.

Item: STP14-1332

•••

Description: Swarovski Swan Mark Crystal Saxophone Pendant Necklace - Goldtone chain is about 20", with lobster claw clasp marked with swan mark. Pendant is 1 3/8" x 1/2", is unmarked that I can see, but was a well known piece from their Crystal Memories Collection. Excellent condition, a great gift for the jazz lover or reed player in your life.

Description: Ruby Z/Candance Loheed Red Poppies Necklace - THIS is a statement necklace. 2 1/4" florals are centered with white dots on black, which is echoed in the two larger side beads; remaining beads are black. Screw silvertone closure, 20.5" length. Marked Candance Loheed on one back bead, opposite side of same bead marked Ruby Z and ©. Excellent condition.

Item: SN14-1339

Price: $125.00 US

•••

Description: Park Lane Large Locket Pendant Necklace - Park Lane was a party plan line that made excellent quality jewelry, and while not usually flashy, it is very wearable. This 2 1/2" x 2" locket suspends from a 17" snake chain and can accomodate some of the photos that a smaller locket cannot. Center of locket front is incised with a multi pointed "star" surrounded by what appears to be a black enamel field. Back is all shiny silvertone and was so reflective that all you got was a picture of me taking the picture! Excellent condition and quality. Bargain priced.

Item: SN14-1330

Price: $12.50 US

•••

Description: Schreiner of NY Bi-Colored Stone Pin Pendant - This 3-D piece uses gorgeous bi-colored stones in fuchsia/blue both at the center and as the larger outer row of stones, alternating with rows of pearls and rhinestones in purple, light blue AB and purple AB. Silvertone setting, with pendant finding at center top so you can also use this on a neck chain (or perhaps use with the fabulous crystal necklace in blue/fuschia, CS1-142). Signed on cartouche Schreiner New York, excellent, almost mint condition, I see no flaws here. Probably an expensive, treasured piece of a previous owner.

Item: SPP13-1267

Price: $240.00 US

•••

Description: WMCA Brooch with Clear Pave and Green Flatback Squares - Interesting cut-out design with a larger square in the center flanked NSEW by slightly smaller flatback squares. Brooch is 2" in diameter and very slightly domed. Marked WMCA (White Metal Caster's Association) and what appears to be 1 A on the back. A few of the clears show some aging; one of the green stones has a chip (visible on both enlargements) which is not noticeable in person unless you are looking for it. Price reflects.

Item: SP8-1220

Price: $29.50 US

Sorry, SOLD!

•••

Description: Swarovski Jeweler's Collection Faux Alexandrite Brooch - This comes with the original romance card and black velveteen bag. The brooch has three unfoiled step cut octagonal faux alexandrite glass stones, with several faux alexandrite rounds around the perimeter, and lots of clear rhine pave. Set in rhodium plate, this has the swan mark on the back. Brooch measures about 2 1/4" x 2", in an asymmetrical design that is slightly domed. I have shown the brooch in fluorescent lighting and in indirect sunlight so that you can see the color change. Excellent, probably unworn condition.

Item: SP7-1177

Price: $150.00 US

•••

Description: Sterling Rosegold Brooch with Cobalt Blue/Dark Blue Stones - The main body of this piece is rosegold, with the part set with clear rhinestones silver, making this two-tone. The small round blue stones are a cobalt blue, with the large elongated pears a deep sapphire but not quite the same color as the round blue stones. Top section appears to be rivited onto the bottom; back side says sterling on a circular cartouche. Colored stones are prong set, clears are paste set. Upper side is in excellent condition, back side shows some scratches but not nearly as much as the picture makes it appear. 3 1/8" x 2 1/2", heavy and well made.

Item: SP7-1176

Price: $125.00 US

•••

Description: Parklane Moroccan Matrix Earrings - Normally I associate these stones with DeLizza and Elster pieces, but these are clearly marked Parklane on the clips and don't use the type of earclips found in D&E pieces. Darkened settings, these use a black diamond marquise at the top, four clear rhinestones, and then the art glass stone (black over clear) at the bottom of the dangle. Excellent condition with just a little aging to the clear stones. 1 1/2" x 1/2".

Item: SE7-1131

Price: $24.50 US

•••

Description: H. Pomerantz Huge Floral Brooch - This is a company that is rarely found, and the pieces seem to run from ho-hum to extremely interesting. I would rate this in the extremely interesting end of the spectrum, not only from the size (4 3/4" x 1 1/2"), but also lovely design and interesting darkening effect on leaves that seems to be an oxidation process rather than an enameling. The leaves stand out nicely in contrast to the clear paste set floral heads. A very nice collector's piece in excellent condition.

Item: SP2-1059

Price: $89.50 US

•••

Description: Sherman Purple and Purple Aurora Borealis Earrings with "Shoots" - I don't see very much Sherman in this area so I am excited to be able to offer these to you. This Canadian based manufacturer was known for its beautiful stones and fine craftsmanship. These use all prong-set stones and measure 1 1/4" x 5/8". I tried to get a picture of the signature on the back of the clip but while you can see something is written there, the signature isn't clear in the picture - it is very clear in person. Silvertone setting, excellent condition.

Item: SE6-1035

Price: $34.50 US

Description: Original by Robert Glass Pearl Necklace and Earrings Set - A Haskell look set with only the ear clips marked Robert, this features a necklace with a double strand handknotted creamy baroque glass pearl chain with a hand-wired double filigree center, set with small baroque glass pearls intertwined with roseline crystal wheels, with two small florals out of these pearls centered with a clear roses montee, then a larger pale pink baroque pearl with roseline crystal beads, filigree caps and three prong set clear rhinestones. Dangling earrings use the same larger pale pink baroque pearls, roseline crystal and the tops use the same smaller baroque pearls intertwined with roseline crystal wheels and prong set clear rhinestones. Necklace is adjustable from about 15-18", center is about 1" in diameter. Earring tops are more oval shaped, about 1" x 7/8", with dangles adding another 1 1/2". Excellent original condition with just a slight wave in the pearl strand which should hang out with time.

Item: SS4-1010

Price: $195.00/set US

•••

Description: (House of) Rousseau Black Diamond Rhinestone and Glass Pearl Bracelet and Earrings Set - There is very little information that I can find on this company, and I'm not sure how much of that is reliable. While there are a few contemporary jewelry designers using the name Rousseau, this is 1950's era jewelry, and is rarely found (these are the only pieces I remember seeing in the last 25 years). The bracelet and earrings use grey rhinestone pears and creamy glass pearls, all set in rhodium plate. The link style bracelet has a wide foldover clasp and safety chain, 7" wearable length x 1". Matching dangling earrings are clip, 1 1/2" x 1". Only the bracelet is marked, but the distinctive design is an obvious match. Excellent original condition, with just a little yellowing of the glue around the bottom of the glass pearls. A great gift for those who collect unusual signatures.

Item: SS3-1007

Price: $125.00/set US

•••

Description: House of Schrager Fifth Avenue Floral Brooch - Done in prong set yellow topaz marquises surrounding a center clear dentelle and alternating with smaller chatons; pave set stem. Silvertone setting, 2 1/2" x 1 3/8". Excellent condition. House of Schrager was actually located at 392 5th Avenue in NYC, from about 1925-1960's. Difficult to find, and often marked just Schrager. Very nice collector's piece.

Item: SP12-967

•••

Description: Elizabeth Taylor Heart of Hollywood Pin/Original Box & Bag - "Draped in swirls of matte goldtone, the openwork heart pin with pearly inlay, lustrous faux pearls and brilliant pave crystal embraces a fiery faux opal." Thus reads part of the romance card included with this brooch, as well as the original dark purple storage bag, purple tissue, purple box and purple sleeve. The brooch is 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" and is in pristine condition, never worn. Even the box and sleeve are in very good-excellent condition, with just a little bit of wear on the corners. Part of a series done approximately 20 years ago for Avon.

Item: SP1-929

Price: $72.50 US

•••

Description: Taylord Sterling/Goldfilled Bow Brooch - A lovely retro piece from an almost unknown company. I tried to get a photo of the cartouche, which says TAYLORD in the center, sterling on top and 1/20-12KT (traditional GF marking) on the bottom. The center of the bow, which is sterling, is set with 4 clear bead-set stones, and in a parallel line, 5 tiny square sapphire blue stones. Asymmetrical bow has ties to one side, I am assuming the gold colored ribbon part of the bow is the GF part and the silver setting is sterling, but it could be vice versa. About 2 1/2" x 1 1/2". Very nice condition, with only the minute scratches one always finds on these pieces. I think you could safely say this is rare.

Item: SP3-933

Price: $49.50 US

•••

Description: Savvy (Swarovski) Aqua/Clear/Glass Pearl Necklace & Earrings Set - Made of Swarovski crystals and pearls, this features aqua colored navettes, clear rounds and 8mm cream colored glass pearls, hand knotted. Necklace has goldtone findings, foldover clasp, 16", center portion 7/8" wide. Earrings are pierced (post) and 1" in diameter. All pieces marked S.A.L. and copyright symbol, earrings on original card, which reads Savvy TM by Swarovski (registered mark), Swarovski full lead crystal, surgical steel posts. Excellent, probably unworn condition. The earrings originally retailed for $30., so this set is priced at about 1/2 of what it would have sold for about 20 years ago.

Item: SS4-928

Price: $39.50/set US

Sorry, SOLD!

•••

Description: Property of a Lady Enamel & Rhinestone Necklace - Not a signature that you're familiar with? I have been unable to find out very much about this line, though apparently it is from the late 1990's, and perhaps Canadian based. Unusual logo is a large P with a script "L" to the left of the P. This measures about 18" x 3/4", slightly domed top, with dark blue enameled and rhinestone set links alternating with curved goldtone bands. Nice weight, hidden push-in clasp, original white velvet and red leatherette presentation box. Excellent condition.

Item: SN1-902

Price: $99.50 US

•••

Description: Schwob Pin Watch - Swiss watch, , marked Schwob on the face, with hands, and numerals in goldtone. Also has seconds hand, with the seconds marked off by tens. Setting function works properly, and the watch works intermittently, but not all the time, so I am selling it "as is". Floral and leaf design, base metal with somewhat worn gold plating. 3" x 2 1/8". I am not knowledgeable about watches, so am guessing this to be 1920's or earlier.

Item: SPW2-903

Price: $49.50 (As Is) US

Description: Razza "Taurus the Bull" Pendant Necklace - From the late 1960's when all things Zodiac-related were popular, this was part of a series of 12. I have seen slightly different versions of the Razza bull, this one uses a heavy plastic head rivteted to a goldtone collar, with goldtone ball eyes and goldtone ears. Chain is 20" and looks to be original but is unmarked; only the head is signed Razza. Pendant is 2" x 2" and about 3/4" deep, very three dimensional. Excellent condition, chain has darkened a bit with time.

Item: SN6-841

Price: $47.50 US

•••

Description: Swarovski Pave Rhinestone Crosshatched Button Earrings - Swan mark on earring backs. Goldtone along rims and on lattic work, with clear pave set in silvertone. Domed, slightly over 1" in diameter. Excellent condition. This style is coming back into favor and looks really wonderful on.

Item: SE4-804

Price: $20.00 US

•••

Description: West German Cameo Necklace and Earring Set - Pendant necklace and earrings are centered with a prongset applied cameo over a faux tortoiseshell base. Filigree setting uses paste set small white pearls and smoky topaz rhinestones. Earrings are clip, 1" x 7/8", goldtone setting with clip findings marked W. Germany. Pendant is 2" in diameter, suspended from a fancy 24" chain with a pearl set safety clasp. Excellent condition.

Item: SS8-811

Price: $47.50/set US

•••

Description: Pearlcraft Pink Crystal and Clear Rhinestone Earrings - This is only the 2nd or 3rd pair of Pearlcraft earrings that I have had, but they are excellent quality, with lots of expensive components. The pink crystal is a really beautiful shade, a little more intense and on the blue side of pink rather than the peachier pinks. Every crystal bead is attached with a rhinestone headpin - for you beaders out there, you know how expensive rhinestone headpins are, 36 headpins in all! You could not make these earrings for this price. Signed Pearlcraft on the clip findings. A few tiny dings in the silvertone finish on the backs, otherwise excellent if not perfect condition.

Item: SE3-781

Price: $24.00 US

•••

Description: Tortolani Goldtone Pendant - While I don't normally handle this kind of item, because Tortolani is difficult to find I decided to put it on the website. Very standard pendant design circa 1960; front side is excellent, back side is slightly worn at rubbing points but photo makes it look more worn than it is in person. This came to us without a chain; in fact, bale is large enough that it would accomodate almost inside of chain/omega/ribbon that you would care to thread it on. However I have included a long (28") chain in case you need one. Pendant is 1 1/2 in diameter and kind of domed.

Item: SN7-783

Price: $15.00 US

•••

Description: 1928 Brand Necklace and Earring Set - Beautiful glass pearl three strand necklace with large center of an unfoiled glass aqua oval, surrounded by a row of clear rhinestones, then a row of oval pearl cabochons and swirls of clear rhinestones. strands have 7mm cream colored pearls with clear rhinestone rondelles and side stations of aqua ovals with three clear rhinestones on either end. Necklace has adjustable hook and tail, with 1928 hangtag. Adjusts to about 20 inches, center is 2" x 2 1/4". Earrings imitate the center of the center plaque. Pierced, 1" x 3/4". Probably worn once. The only thing that keeps this set from being mint condition is that the glue that holds the aqua glass in the earrings has yellowed. I think this could be removed and the glass reset but I will leave that to the new owners. This set originally retailed for around $150.00 - earring card still has original $35.00 price tag. This is probably about 20 years old.

Item: SS7-733

Price: $85.00/set US

•••

Description: Early 1940's Huge Reinad Floral Brooch - Reinad jewelry is scarce, and large (4 3/8" x 2 5/8") multi layer pieces are a "once every 20 years if you're lucky" find. This is the only piece I've seen in person. Goldtone, prong set purple stones in second layer are accented with bead set clears and a pave set crescent shape, from which emanates a 5-fingered layer with an underlayer of 7 clear rhinestone set fingers. Purple layer surmounts an all-metal layer of leaves, which sits atop of another layer of leaves which have a ruffled appearance and are bordered with small clears, all atop pave set stems. This item has some condition issues; quite a few of the clears are replacements, and the top "five fingers", as well as back of piece, show plating wear. All metal layeralmost appears to be sterling, as it is a different color, almost rose gold in appearance but somewhat darkened. However, design, rarity, size, and beauty far outweigh these relatively minor condition issues. As one well-known jewelry author says, "if you find a piece of Reinad, buy it".

Item: SP1-668

Price: $345.00 US

•••

Description: Schoffel Austria Riviere Necklace and Earring Set - While my picture would indicate a dark brown for the stones here, these are honey colored in person, and absolutely beautiful stones they are! All dog-toothed prong set in goldtone, the stones are all 11mm in diameter with the exception of smaller 6mm stones used on the tail. Clip earrings use an unusual clip finding. All pieces marked with the Schoffel crown mark. Goldtone setting, wonderful quality and heft. Earrings are about 7/8", necklace adjusts up to 16".

Item: SS1-662

Price: $165.00/set US

Sorry, SOLD!

•••

Description: Selini Floral Brooch in Purple, Yellow and Green - Apparently part of the Selro jewelry company, Selini made all rhinestone pieces as well as those that combined enamel with rhinestone. This has not only enamel and purple rhinestones but yellow plastic floral "stamens" that scream 1960's and make this three dimensional piece not only look quite realistic but utterly charming as well. The lavender enameling is wearing along the edges of the petals (one petal in particular shows enamel loss) and very slight loss of the green enamel along the edges; however the missing enamel along the edges almost looks like part of the design and I find this piece very attractive as is. However, I have priced accordingly. About 3" x 2 1/2" x 3/4" deep.

Item: SP3-652

Price: $47.50 US

•••

Description: Panetta Dangling Rhinestone Earrings - Panetta, another rarely found company, was started by a man who had been a fine jeweler in Italy before moving to America, and when you see a piece of Panetta you can certainly tell that influence. Beautifully made and classically elegant, these look like the real thing and are top quality and condition. Floral motif tops are have prong set clears and surmount a pave set elongated Y shape, from which an unfoiled pendaloque cut pear shape is suspended. Clip findings and body of earrings are both marked Panetta. 1 3/4" x 3/8". Rhodium plating. Excellent original condition. Wonderful attention to detail.

Item: SE11-646

Price: $49.50 US

•••

Description: Nettie Rosenstein Jonquil/Clear Floral Brooch - Ms. Rosenstein's pieces are rare but always worth the effort! This classic (and classy) piece done with a pave set center ball in jonquil (light yellow) rhinestone, with a larger stone in jonquil set on the top. The radiating leaves are all pave set with clear rhinestones, in silvertone, with the rest in goldtone, as per fine jewelry. Alternating leaves on lower level are all goldtone. Signed Nettie Rosenstein in script, this measures 2" in diameter and is curved for a realistic 3-D effect. Excellent condition with very slight aging on the clear pave. When you need elegant, here it is.

Item: SP10-650

Price: $125.00 US

•••

Description: Nettie Rosenstein Sterling Fur Clip - One of the fashion industry icons from the 1920's-1950's, Rosenstein's name is synonomous with elegance and taste, and her better jewelry items are sought after and not easy to find. Because of the use of sterling on this piece I would date it to the early to mid 1940's. This uses a leaves and berries motif, with coral colored glass wound beads topped with black glass dots. I'm not sure what berry this is supposed to portray. At any rate, while this is not in perfect condition, it is a worthy addition to any jewelry collection and extremely wearable. There are two black glass dots missing on one berry but the bead can be rotated so that those are on the back side. Vermeil (goldtone over sterling) finish is worn along edges but is still in quite good condition compared to many pieces of the same time frame/materials. About 2" x 1 3/4", clip mechanism is tight. Oh so pretty on black, coral, or even white. Classic design means wearable forever.

Item: SF1-584

Price: $159.00 US

•••

Description: Otis Sterling Sapphire and Clear Rhinestone Brooch - At 2" x 1 1/4", this is a small brooch, but it is top quality in every way and could easily pass for fine jewelry. Deep blue marquises make up the flower petals in this design, and a blue baguette "ribbon" encircles the pave set stems. Leaves are also done in clear pave rhinestone. Probably rhodium plated as there are no signs of tarnish, and this is in excellent condition with one marquise being a replacement.

Item: SP6-518

Price: $79.50 US

Sorry, SOLD!

•••

Description: Pell Glass Pearl and Rhinestone Brooch - Another elegant piece from a rarely found company. Creamy-white glass pearls are surrounded by lots of tiny rhinestones in this stylized floral brooch. Rhodium plating, 2 3/4" x 1". Two rhinestones are replacements. Very good condition with some residual glue showing around the bottom of some of the pearls; this appears to be original and just has darkened over time.

Item: SP11-647

Price: $34.50 US

•••

Description: Pell Pinwheel Brooch in Dark Montana Blue and Clear Rhinestones - Three companies that start with P are highly regarded and difficult to find - Pennino, Polcini (Ledo) and Pell. This piece is elegance defined on a navy blue jacket, top or dress. Made to look like fine jewelry. One small clear is a replacement, otherwise excellent original condition. 2" in diameter.

Item: SP12-404

Price: $89.50 US

Sorry, SOLD!

•••

Description: Sphinx Baroque Cab Pearl and Rhinestone Earrings - At first glance these might be mistaken for Haskell. Center "bumpy" pearl is surrounded by 5 smaller smooth cream colored glass pearls and 5 marquise shaped rhinestones. Clip mechanism, not quite 1" in diameter. Also marked E2217, apparently a style number. Sphinx is an English company that I believe is still in business but is not found very often this side of the pond!

Item: SE1-140

Price: $25.00 US

•••

Description: Regency Pentagonal Brooch in Blues - Whether this looks like a stylized star or what to you, this substantial brooch is a wonderful stand alone or part of a grouping brooch. Gunmetal setting with grey pearlized cabochon ovals and round, and very light blue, light blue, and blue aurora borealis rhinestones. Hook and eye construction holds top layer to bottom layer. Center "pearl" has an "ouchie", and one larger stone has a tiny chip on the underside of one edge, but at this price perhaps you can just enjoy it as is.

Item: SP2-151

Price: $39.00 US

•••

Description: Swarovski Pave Rhinestone Button Earrings - Swan mark on earring and clip findings marked Swarovski. Quality right down to the pads on the clips. Goldtone, 3/4" in diameter. Excellent to mint condition - I can find no flaw.

Item: SE4-344

Price: $19.50 US

•••

Description: S in a Star Huge Brooch in Blue-Lavender Stones and Glass Pearls - I have had this wonderful piece before in a different color combination. The glass oval stones here are a lavender-blue that I have not seen in vintage pieces before (the other piece also used stones in a color that I have not ever seen, either.) I don't believe these to be faux alexandrite because while different lighting makes them look different, it is not the dramatic change one associates with the faux alexandrite. The original pearls in this piece were "holed" pearls, which I have replaced with "no-hole" pearls because the holed ones were pretty obvious and may, themselves, have not been original. A few clears were replaced before I got this piece, but most appear to be original. I have stabilized the clasp with a little cold solder. Price reflects these repairs. A whopping 4" x 2 1/2".

Item: SP11-360

Price: $65.00 US

•••

Description: Huge S in a Star Pair of Gilt Clear Rhinestone Dress Clips - S in a star was the mark of the Fred Grey Company; in addition, these also say "made in USA". Gilt clips are much less common than silvertone, and even less common are ones this size in a pair - each measure 2" x 1 5/8". One stone has dulled considerably. The clip backs are the same as we have found on all the S in a star pieces we have had with one interesting detail. The clips are riveted on and have a place for three rivets in the finding, but only one in the casting. We have added a little cold solder to keep these from being wobbly.
