Description: Trifari Round and Baguette Necklace & Earrings Set with All Clear Rhinestones - This design was called "Midnight" and is from 1957. The link necklace uses "V" shaped designs using clear baguette rhinestones, that flank a zig zagging center row of small round clear rhinestones. With four V shapes per link, this articulates beautifully for a perfect fit. Extension chain, this will fit up to about a 16" neck. About 3/8" wide. Earrings are clip, very slightly domed, about 7/8" in diameter. Silvertone, rhodium plated setting. Necklace is marked Trifari in all capitals, with copyright symbol, earrings are marked Trifari with crown and copyright symbol. Usual Trifari 1950's clip mechanism. Necklace is in excellent, almost pristine condition, earrings are also very good but with a little stone darkening. I have also seen a matching bracelet, and would guess there is also a matching brooch but I have not seen one. I have this same set in my personal collection and can recommend it as a flattering, wearable design worthy of any collection.

Description: Weiss Tan Givre and Hyacinth Aurora Borealis Rhinestones - These must go with a truly lovely necklace, brooch and earrings. Floral motif is composed of tan givre navettes around a large center orange AB; navettes are separated by a single smaller orange AB. Goldtone setting , stones are all prong set, and everything is in excellent condition.

Description: Little Nemo Red and Clear Earrings - For collectors of L/N pieces, this is pretty unusual - a pair of earrings actually marked "Nemo". (Apparently most of the time the pieces were unmarked but carded with the Little Nemo name.) Pentagonal shaped earrings have a raised middle that looks kind of like a snowflake, paste set with clear rhinestones; lower layer is red square stones that alternate with clear rounds. Screwback findings, silvertone, 5/8" in diameter and about 1/4" deep. Good condition with one finding reattached. Originally not expensive but quite a collector's coup.

Description: Laguna Glass Pearl and Clear AB Glass Bead Fringe Necklace and Bracelet Set - Top quality clear aurora borealised beads in different sizes and shapes alternate with white glass pearls in different sizes in this showy set. Goldtone findings, necklace adjusts to 16" and bracelet is a standard 7". Necklace graduates slightly to a maximum width of about 1 1/4"; bracelet is about 1" at widest point. Both pieces taper a little due to the largest beads being used at the center and the smallest at the ends. Bracelet closes with a spring ring and is unmarked, necklace is signed on the hook. Any of the Laguna I have had have been of excellent quality; the handwork to assemble this justifies the price without considering the beads. Excellent condition, I see no problems here.

Description: Parklane Moroccan Matrix Earrings - Normally I associate these stones with DeLizza and Elster pieces, but these are clearly marked Parklane on the clips and don't use the type of earclips found in D&E pieces. Darkened settings, these use a black diamond marquise at the top, four clear rhinestones, and then the art glass stone (black over clear) at the bottom of the dangle. Excellent condition with just a little aging to the clear stones. 1 1/2" x 1/2".

Description: By Gale Opaque Navy and Clear Rhinestone Necklace and Earrings Set - Here's a signature you don't see often, in a stone color you almost never see. Navy cabochon stones in pears and rounds make up the necklace, and navy cabochon navettes make up the clip earrings. Both pieces accented with clear rhinestones. Silvertone setting. Necklace is a festoon look choker, approximately 15" in length, earrings are 1 3/4" x 1". Only one earring is marked "By Gale", with Gale in script and a crown above it, on an applied cartouche. The clears are greying, and it appears that the ring at the end without the hook may be an add-on (due to the short length, this does not seem unreasonable). I think an extension could easily be added if needed. Otherwise great condition, a rare set for someone who wears navy (and there aren't too many people who don't have some navy). Navy is actually a difficult color to find even in contemporary jewelry.

Description: Austria Vitrail Light Rivoli Button Clip Earrings - The word vitrail appears to be French for stained glass; in the context of rhinestone colors, vitrail light is a beautiful combination of lavender and aqua. While I did not get a great picture of these, the stones are rivoli cut (pointed top) in a multi prong setting, and as with almost every piece marked Austria, the stones are exceptional. Multi prong set in goldtone, clip findings; marked on the bottom of the earring (I almost missed the mark). About 11/16" in diameter, goldtone setting. Plating on earring backs and findings is quite worn (these must have been someone's favorite earrings!) but from the front these are in great shape.

Item: SE7-849

Price: $17.50 US

Description: Tortolani Goldtone Pendant - While I don't normally handle this kind of item, because Tortolani is difficult to find I decided to put it on the website. Very standard pendant design circa 1960; front side is excellent, back side is slightly worn at rubbing points but photo makes it look more worn than it is in person. This came to us without a chain; in fact, bale is large enough that it would accomodate almost any kind of chain/omega/ribbon that you would care to thread it on. However I have included a long (28") chain in case you need one. Pendant is 1 1/2 in diameter and kind of domed.

Description: Jeanne "Angel on My Shoulder" Brooch - This piece is positioned so that the only way that makes sense is to wear it on top of something, such as your shoulder. It can be viewed from front or back. Goldtone with clear rhinestones going all the way around the halo. 1 1/8" x 1 3/8" x 7/8" deep. Fun piece from a rarely found company.

Item: SP7-1179

Description: Trifari Curved Clear Baguette and Round Rhinestone Link Necklace-A well known and sought after design, known as "Lightning", probably from the design table of Alfred Philippe. Ingeniously engineered link design alternates two rows of thin baguettes with rounds in such a way that you have a naturally curved piece. All stones present; heavy rhodium plate and quality hook marked Trifari; the tail is a replacement. About 14 1/2", adjustable. Could easily be made longer if needed.

Item: SN7-392

Description: Trifari Syncopation Necklace, Bracelet and Earrings - Summer jewelry from 1957, Syncopation is my favorite of all the white thermoplastic jewelry that Trifari produced. Set in GOLDTONE (this set was also produced in silvertone), the earrings measure 1" x about 3/4", and use what I feel is the "better" clip mechanism that Trifari seems to have used in the 1950's (both are good, but this is just a little more substantial clip). Necklace is adjustable hook, not quite 1" wide, and was difficult to measure accurately but should fit up to a 15" neck (this could be extended quite easily). Bracelet is 7" x 1 1/4". Top sides are in excellent condition, back sides are worn but not badly (and I have never seen any pieces from this design that didn't have plate wear). I love the Egyptian feel of the collar necklace. Great any time of the year (could be worn over a black turtleneck, for example) but particularly nice for summer.

Description: L/N 25 (Little Nemo) Stylized Floral with Green Cabs - Actually I am not certain what these would be considered because while these are cabochon shaped stones, they have a faceted pattern of small triangles that you can only really see when you rotate the piece; the facets are firepolished rather than sharp. Glass, faux jade look, with goldtone metal. At 3" x 1 3/4" this is among the largest of the L/N pieces. Excellent condition, with only slight plating wear to back.

Description: 1928 Brand Necklace and Earring Set - Beautiful glass pearl three strand necklace with large center of an unfoiled glass aqua oval, surrounded by a row of clear rhinestones, then a row of oval pearl cabochons and swirls of clear rhinestones. strands have 7mm cream colored pearls with clear rhinestone rondelles and side stations of aqua ovals with three clear rhinestones on either end. Necklace has adjustable hook and tail, with 1928 hangtag. Adjusts to about 20 inches, center is 2" x 2 1/4". Earrings imitate the center of the center plaque. Pierced, 1" x 3/4". Probably worn once. The only thing that keeps this set from being mint condition is that the glue that holds the aqua glass in the earrings has yellowed. I think this could be removed and the glass reset but I will leave that to the new owners. This set originally retailed for around $150.00 - earring card still has original $35.00 price tag. This is probably about 20 years old.

Description: Whiting and Davis Hinged Bangle Bracelet and Earrings Set - Large, nicely faceted unfoiled topaz glass oval stones are used in front and back of the bracelet and as centers of the earrings (earrings look darker because they are on a black card, but in fact are the same color as the bracelet stones, just a different size). All pieces use kind of a crackly goldtone finish, hobnail like accents, streaming decorative lines and sawtooth bezel setting for the stones. Bracelet is marked with the usual "Whiting and Davis Co. Mesh Bags" mark, and the earrings with the usual Whiting & Davis Co. on the clip findings. Earrings are about 1 1/4" x 1", bracelet is 1" wide, and inner dimension of 2 1/4" x 1 15/16". Safety chain looks original. Excellent condition, small to average wrist.

Description: Madeleine LCTopaz Earrings - Another rarely found name, the Madeleine company seems to have been NYC-based, and perhaps was manufactured in part by DeLizza & Elster. Both earrings are signed, and the design is made up to light Colorado and Colorado topaz rhinestones, all prong set, using a large center stone, and smaller navettes and rounds. Excellent condition, about 15/16" in diameter.

Description: Crown Trifari Dark Sapphire and Clear Rhinestone Brooch and Earring Set - Probably from the early to mid 1960's, this set features 2 1/2" dangling earrings and a meteor type design brooch. Both brooch and earrings use mostly clear baguettes and octagonal blue rhinestones, with a sprinkling of clear round accent stones. Silvertone Trifanium plating, all stones are original and everything is in excellent condition. Brooch is 2 3/4" x 1 1/2" at widest point. A wonderful set.

Description: DeMario Smoky Topaz and Goldtone Earrings - While not in the Haskellesque style that DeMario was noted for, these elegant earclips are well-made and I'm sure match a necklace/bracelet/brooch somewhere. The large pendaloque pear stone is unfoiled, and sits in a fancy cast goldtone "cup", kind of like it is emerging from a clamshell. Clip findings are of the type used by D&E, but I have no reason to believe that they were manufactured by them, other than the fact that they are well-constructed. About 7/8" x 1/2". Excellent condition.

Description: L/N (Little Nemo) Brooch in Pastels - Probably this company's best known and loved design, seen both with and without enameling on the florals (in this case, without). Rarely seen with pastel rhinestones. Potmetal with a pewtery finish. Domed oval shape, 2 1/8" x 1 7/8". I replaced one missing small stone, otherwise excellent original condition.

Description: B. David Aurora Borealis/Glass Pearl Earrings - Done in clear aurora borealis rhinestones in pears, marquise, and rounds, and accented with small white glass pearls. Silvertone setting, usual triangular earclip used by this company, and signed on the mechandism. About 7/8" x 5/8", great condition, and much more sparkly in person.

Item: SE7-847

Description:  McClelland Barclay Swag Double Brooch - While the design of the main portion of this piece is typical for this company, this swag design is rarely found. Main brooch is 2" in diameter and uses deep blue pears and octagon, prong set, with usual clear stones in a deco-type design. Smaller pin is 3/4", with a single blue octagon and a few clear rhinestones. Chains are approximately 7", give or take. Usual minor wear to plating on top side, normal wear on back side. Unfortunately the wear is right where the signature is, and the signature is light and not complete (only cClelland is readily seen with a 10X loupe, part of Barclay is there but you can't really tell what you are seeing.) Excellent vintage condition.

Description: Trifari Philippe Floral Fur Clip - One of Trifari's most popular circa 1940's pieces were the fur clips with a floral theme. I am guessing these are stylized violets, but whatever they are they are lovely. Most of the piece uses the two-tone (or more) enameling for which Trifari (and Coro) were justly famous. The heart shaped leaves use two shades of olive green enameling, with the veins and the edges traced with a green-aqua and turned tips pave set with clear rhinestones. Stems also use brown enameling highlighted with the aqua green, tied with a pave set ribbon and single clears on the end. The left flower is done in various shades of purple with white highlights. Only the yellow flower is a solid color with no highlights. I originally thought the yellow was re-done but I have since seen one or two others done this same way. Older crown Trifari signature, silvertone plating, all stones appear original.

Description: Florenza Pin Pendant and Ring Set in Faux Turquoise, Pearl and Purple Stones - A pretty color combination in a very versatile set. Pin pendant features three dangles, with the body set with turquoise balls, purple round and pear shaped rhinestones and tiny white glass pearls. Ring has faceted faux turquoise, diamond shaped purple rhinestones and even smaller white glass pearls. Goldtone setting, all pieces in excellent condition. Brooch pendant is 3" x 1 1/2" at widest points, ring is adjustable with front being 1" in diameter.

Description: Trifari Round Olive Green and Black Diamond Earrings - This button style earring is layered for a three dimensional effect. Center floral of olive green stones is surrounded by a row of larger black diamond, and a border of olive green with little black diamond stones separating. Silvertone setting, standard Trifari clipback, 1 1/8" in diameter. Excellent condition.

Item: SE7-1069

Description: Les Bernard Pave Set Doorknocker Earrings - This must have been a popular design for Les Bernard because I have had the top portion pave set with black rhinestones (without the doorknocker part). These are goldtone and set with all clear rhinestones. The clears are not as "white" as they originally were but still have lots of sparkle, however they are price accordingly. 1 1/2" x 1" and very three dimensional. The doorknocker part swings freely.

Item: SE7-798

Description: Trifari Sterling Philippe Jelly Belly Sailboat Brooch - This is one of the few jelly belly pieces that Alfred Philippe designed for Trifari that did not use an animal/insect theme. Marked Des. Pat. No. 135174, this patent dates to March of 1943; also marked sterling and Trifari with a crown. Light gold wash, rigging is silvertone. Small flag and center of bow have tiny rhinestone pave, several of which are missing; I can replace if you would like. 2 1/2" x 1 1/2".

Description: Eisenberg Floral Wreath Brooch - Done in all clear rhinestones, this uses large dentelle cut rounds alternating with pear shaped rhinestones, with a paved crescent moon shape over one side of the rounds that is topped with pave set petals. Heavy rhodium plate, excellent vintage condition. Very feminine feel, somehow this almost reminds me of fireworks. About 2 1/4" in diameter including the petals. Very nice piece.

Item: SP7-636

Price: $72.50 US

Description: Hollycraft Clear Rhinestone Earrings - Signed on the knob part of the screwback mechanism (impossible to see in picture, sorry), these pinwheel design earrings use clear pears and a center round. Stones are prong set, with openback settings for the pears. Silvertone, probably rhodium, plate, and very sparkly. Excellent condition, 3/4" in diameter.

Item: SE7-850

Price: $29.50 US

•••

Description: Fenichel Pearl & Rhinestone Necklace - Most of Fenichel's necklaces are chokers, and this is no exception, but is a little less common in that instead of being a riviere style this is more of a fringe design, using clear marquise rhinestones for the "collar" and a creamy-grey glass pearl for the fringe. Hook and tail closure uses pearl ball chain instead of rhinestone chain on the extension; this necklace is adjustable up to just shy of 16". Excellent condition, with just some mild wear to the plating on the back of the necklace at the places where it would rub during wear. The rhinestones are nice and sparkly, and the pearls are in excellent condition. Perfect for the bride or perhaps to go with a light silver dress.

Item: SN7-840

Price: $49.50 US

•••

Description: Fenichel Headlight Necklace in Jonquil, AB and Madeira Topaz Rhinestones - The style of Fenichel necklace most sought after by collectors of this brand, the headlight necklace features 23 twelve millimeter glass stones in light yellow, warm brown and aurora borealis (possibly a light topaz AB rather than a clear AB, but I am not certain.) The jonquil and topaz stones are dentelles (fancy cut rounds) while the AB's are traditional chatons. All stones are multi prong set, with smaller AB's in the tail, finishing with a large topaz. Rhinestone set hook, adjustable length necklace extends to a maximum of 15". Goldtone setting, excellent condition. I tried to get a shot of the Fenichel mark, which is on the tail end stone, but it is difficult to see; as with many Fenichel pieces, the "L" is cropped off and the signature looks like FENICHEI. Wonderful piece.

Item: SN7-942

Price: $117.50 US

•••

Description: Trifari Clear Rhinestone Earrings - Probably from the Contessa series and a probable match for SN10-1042, this uses round stones at the top above three marquises. Interesting to note that this is a dentelle stone used (large round at center) while colored versions of this same design did not use one. Silvertone, usual Trifari clip back for this time period, excellent condition. 7/8" x 5/8"

Item: SE7-1070

Description: Swarovski Jeweler's Collection Faux Alexandrite Brooch - This comes with the original romance card and black velveteen bag. The brooch has three unfoiled step cut octagonal faux alexandrite glass stones, with several faux alexandrite rounds around the perimeter, and lots of clear rhine pave. Set in rhodium plate, this has the swan mark on the back. Brooch measures about 2 1/4" x 2", in an asymmetrical design that is slightly domed. I have shown the brooch in fluorescent lighting and in indirect sunlight so that you can see the color change. Excellent, probably unworn condition.

Item: SP7-1177

Price: $150.00 US

•••

Description: Sterling Rosegold Brooch with Cobalt Blue/Dark Blue Stones - The main body of this piece is rosegold, with the part set with clear rhinestones silver, making this two-tone. The small round blue stones are a cobalt blue, with the large elongated pears a deep sapphire but not quite the same color as the round blue stones. Top section appears to be rivited onto the bottom; back side says sterling on a circular cartouche. Colored stones are prong set, clears are paste set. Upper side is in excellent condition, back side shows some scratches but not nearly as much as the picture makes it appear. 3 1/8" x 2 1/2", heavy and well made.
