Description: Nettie Rosenstein Jonquil/Clear Floral Brooch - Ms. Rosenstein's pieces are rare but always worth the effort! This classic (and classy) piece done with a pave set center ball in jonquil (light yellow) rhinestone, with a larger stone in jonquil set on the top. The radiating leaves are all pave set with clear rhinestones, in silvertone, with the rest in goldtone, as per fine jewelry. Alternating leaves on lower level are all goldtone. Signed Nettie Rosenstein in script, this measures 2" in diameter and is curved for a realistic 3-D effect. Excellent condition with very slight aging on the clear pave. Description: Haskell "Bubble Gum" Faux Coral/Faux Baroque Pearl Necklace - Also done with clear rhinestone rondelles and 3-dimensional brass chain, this longer (approximately 25") necklace is perfect over sweaters in winter and with a dress in summer. Odd ruffle-y beads in kind of a pink-peach are flanked with clear rondelles and alternate with baroque glass pearls with endcaps and small brass beads. Back of clasp is signed "Miriam Haskell" in an oval, with exterior of clasp having a wired baroque pearl surrounded by small clear prong set rhinestones. Description: Accessocraft NYC Art Glass Brooch - I'm not sure whether this would be considered Murano glass, or what, but art glass oval cabochons in shades of navy, red, white, olive green and aqua surrounda goldtone center crest with a crown motif. Goldtone setting, 1 3/4" in diameter, excellent condition. From what I have been able to find online, this "heraldic" type of motif is not uncommon for this company, which was in business from 1930-1998, and whose plethora of designers included Anne Klein. Description: DFB Co. "Deluxe Carmen" Sweetheart Expansion Bracelet - The DFB Company was the D.F. Briggs Company of Attleboro, Massachusetts, which later became Briggs, Bates and Bacon. These pieces were apparently manufactured over a period of years (decades, in fact) which the first ones around the turn of the 20th century, going clear up to the 1940's. Some people believe that the ones marked DFB are earlier pieces, but I can't confirm that. I have seen a magazine advertisement that showed these being sold with a matching heart necklace. At any rate, this one is marked Deluxe fairly close to the center, and then Carmen, The D.F.B. Co., and Made in U.S.A. towards the center back. This is in excellent condition, all stones are original and other than a little wear on the smallest heart this is in extremely nice shape for its age. I am assuming that the heart would be engraveable on either front or back if desired. This is about 6 1/4" around unstretched, it fits nicely on my small adult wrist, but this may have been originally for a teenager (though 70-100 years ago adults were much smaller than they are now!) Description: Vendome Colorado Topaz Aurora Borealis Bead Earrings - These earrings are in pristine condition, even the AB coating on the beads is in excellent, unworn shape. The main beads are eggplant shaped; center bead is round. Small bicones (not AB) at top and bottom, center bead is bordered by small seed beads. All beads are handwired, attached to pierced backing frame, which is covered by matching frame. Silvertone metal, usual Vendome screw-clip mechanism, about 3/4" in diameter. Description: Trifari Brooch and Earrings Set in Montana/Clear RS - The silvertone of the brooch was so reflective that it almost appears white, but this is silvertone, no enamel. Pretty Montana (navy blue) round rhinestones are accented with tiny clear rhinestones, and design is highlighted with silvertone dimensional matte leaves with vein tracery. Brooch is 2 1/2" x 1 3/8", earrings are not quite 1" in diameter. Usual 1950's-60's era clip findings. All pieces marked crown Trifari with copyright symbol. Description: Trifari Enamel and Faux Turquoise Cabochon Hinged Bracelet and Earrings Set - These 1960's era pieces are marked crown Trifari and copyright symbol; I have seen this design also done with emerald green or dark blue cabochons. The bracelet is an oval shaped clamper with a figure eight safety, 2 3/16" x 1 13/16" x 3/4" wide. The white enamel is more of a creamy white than a dead white and is in very good condition, no dings on the bracelet and only a few on the earring on the left in the picture. The only flaw I can see is on the left earring the enamel is a little dark along the outer edge and isn't shiny like the rest of the piece. This is not noticeable to the casual observer and wouldn't be seen when worn but needs to be noted. The clip earrings are about 1" in diameter and use the standard Trifari clip mechanism from that era. Goldtone setting. Item: SS10-1039 Price: $119.50/set US    |

Description: Trifari Purple Cabochon and Green Stone Sterling Earrings - This earring was patented in April, 1945 (shortly before the end of WWII) and is marked Trifari on the 40's era clip and Des Pat No. 140798 on the inside body of the clip, as well as Sterling on the "wing" part of the body. A line of clear rhinestones run up the center of the wing portion of the design, and a small section of pave is on the underside. Bottom of design is done with unfoiled purple cabochons alternating with green stones that have soft facets. Vermeil is very slightly worn and certainly mellowed, but is definitely still there, as opposed to so many of these pieces that have lost much or most of their goldwash. Everything appears original here and in excellent condition, even the clears are in good shape. About 1 1/4" x 7/8". Rarely found pieces and quite beautiful. Item: SE10-953 Price: $125.00 US |

Description: Sarah Coventry "Celebrity" Bracelet and Earrings Set - This well known and desirable SC set apparently also has a matching pin/pendant and ring, if you wish to search online to find, but this is the bracelet and earrings set. Bracelet is a link style with a large foldover clasp, 7 1/4" x 1 1/2"; matching clip earrings are 1 1/2" x 1 1/4". Silvertone setting with large unfoiled black diamond emerald cut stones, surrounded by 3 and 4mm black diamond rhinestones. Excellent condition - a few of the rhinestones were missing so I replaced them all for uniformity, safety chain was broken so I have also replaced it. Description: Trifari Clear Rhinestone Adjustable Choker Necklace - Clear Rhinestone necklace done with marquise and round stones, all paste set, with the exception of the stones on the extension chain which are pronged. Lovely design, this may be part of the "Contessa" series. Hook clasp is signed simply Trifari. Silvertone setting, all is in excellent vintage condition. 5/8" wide, maximum extension of 15 1/2", though it would not be difficult to add extra chain if needed. A classic 1950's look. Description: Coro Cameo Bracelet and Brooch Set - I am guessing these to be some of the jewelry produced around the time of the release of the movie "Gone With the Wind" in the very late 1930's - early 1940's. Both cameos in a classic woman's profile are done on a black glass background, but the brooch appears to have a matte finish plastic head while the smaller cameo in the bracelet appears to be of molded glass. While there is a slight difference in the appearance of the cameos, I think it has to do with the size difference and small details due to the size difference - these are obviously meant to match. Antiqued goldtone frames are identical. Brooch measures 1 3/4" x 1 3/8", and is about 1/2" deep. Bracelet is a little over 7" with the foldover clasp. Center part measures 1 3/8" x 1 1/8". Description: Mazer Swirl Brooch-Pendant - A truly exceptional piece just feels different. This lovely design is done with two sizes of round clear rhinestones, clear baguettes, tapered baguettes and cushion-cut square rhinestones, and finished in heavy rhodium plate. All stones are original, two pave rhinestones are missing and I will replace if you would prefer, though I would recommend leaving as is. Slight darkening on a few of the pave stones, and one of the cushion cut squares has yellowed slightly. Can be worn as a brooch or added to a chain as a pendant (self-bail on reverse). 2 3/4" x 1 1/2" at widest points and is 3-D. From my personal collection. Description: Trifari Jonquil and Clear Rhinestone Brooch - This fabulous in and out design is all pave set with clear rhinestones on the inside and jonquil (light yellow) rhinestones on the outside. All set in goldtone, this is marked crown Trifari with the copyright symbol. Shiny goldtone on front, matte goldtone on back. Excellent shape with just a tiny wave in the pinstem. 2 3/8" x 2", this is a wearable size for almost any taste. Probably 1960's, I have only seen 2-3 pieces from this design series over the years. Description: M&S Gold Filled Retro Pin-Pendant and Earring Set - This lovely set, with an intriguing "stepped" design, came to me as a pin-pendant (without a chain) and earrings, so I have added a round 1940's snake chain, which can easily be removed with a pair of pliers, for those who would like to use this as a pendant necklace. The colored stones are purple unfoiled emerald cut glass stones and clear rhinestones, with all stones prong set. The earrings are screwback and measure 1 1/8" x 1/2"; the pendant is 3" x 1 1/2" at the widest points, but looks very delicate with its airy design. The added chains make about a 20" necklace. Description: Botticelli Faux Pearl Clip Earrings - These seem quite similar to a pair of Tortolani earrings that I had a few years back, and I am thinking there is perhaps a shared manufacturer, but I am unable to verify this. Creamy white glass pearls are "eggplant" shaped, and set in a heavy silvertone frame (factory oxidized) with a motif that has a floral feel to it. Description: Vendome Frosted Taupe Bead Brooch and Earrings Set - Vendome, Coro's top fashion line, was particularly noted for two types of jewelry - exceptional rhinestone, and gorgeous beads. This is in the 2nd category, and mixes a number of unusual beads - round, unfaceted frosted taupe colored beads, a thin pearlized flattened round, and a vitrail-type faceted bead that flashes a light olive green and peach, with a "shaved" end. Add to that a topaz AB faceted rounds, small crystal bicones, and everything attached with rhinestone headpins, and you have pieces that were originally expensive because of the number and rarity of the components. Description: Mazer Bros Topaz Rhinestone Bracelet - A lovely and wearable "line" type bracelet that alternates prongset baguettes and stepped cut square stones (these actually have squared corners so would be considered octagonal). The square stones are a slightly more intense shade of topaz so that the bracelet is more interesting looking. Though the piece is goldtone, the pave set clasp is silvertone (just like fine jewelry) and the foldover connector is also rhinestone set. Safety chain looks to be original, with a "thumbless" spring ring. Wearable length is just shy of 7". Description: Trifari TM Enameld Black and Cafe Au Lait Enamel Hinged Bangle Bracelet - A more recent piece, probably 1980's, nonetheless well made and pretty, this combines shiny black enamel with a darker brown enamel that has enough of a lighter brown mixed in (almost a coppery cast) to provide interesting swirls throughout the brown, which predominates the piece (the black is only on the two semi-circles, farthest from centerfront on each side.) Goldtone, sides are a type of rope twist design, excellent, almost like new condition. I have seen a matching brooch on ebay, there were probably a necklace and earrings as well though I have not seen them. About 1" at widest point, 2" x 2 3/8" so average to a little larger wrist. Description: Weiss Arum Rhinestone Brooch and Earrings Set - I'm not sure if this is a stylized flower, a pinwheel, a starfish or something else, but it is a very pretty and wearable design, done in goldtone with arum (gold metallic coated) rhinestones. Slightly over 2 1/2" in diameter, the center is domed and the leaves turn under enough to give this a 3 dimensional effect. Matching domed earrings are clip, about 1" in diameter. Description: Trifari Sterling Crown (Smaller Version) - This basic design was done in two sizes; this is the smaller. Marked Trifari, Sterling, and Des. Pat. No. 137542, from March, 1944. The larger version has two rows of rhinestones on each side, this smaller version has one row of rhinestones on each side. Faux opal and faux sapphire cabs are accented with blue and red rhinestones as well as clear, with a row of red baguettes toward the bottom. I replaced a few missing clears; the back side shows wear to the vermeil and a little wave in the pinstem, but it looks great from the front. Excellent price. Description: Hollycraft Candle Tree Earrings - Done in a light goldtone, these clip earrings feature a very tall baguette candle topped with a light siam flame, flanked with emerald and topaz glass flatbacks and topped with an aurora borealis set rhinestone star. 1 1/4" x 7/8".
