Description: ART Sabrina Translucent Leaves Earrings - The ART company was not particularly known for using the translucent leaf stones, certainly not in the way that Lisner was. In fact, this is the first time I've had a piece of ART with this type of stone, and I had no luck finding other similar pieces online, either. These leaves are beautiful, a kind of lavender blue shot with a streak of pink; enameled leaves in light pink surround, and three sizes of pink AB rhinestones accent. All set in silvertone, the earrings are clip, 1" x 7/8". Only one earring is signed (with ©), which may account for the difficulty of finding matching pieces - they may not be signed. Very slight plate flaking on the earring findings; the earrings themselves are fine. The pink AB stones may have gotten a little "orange-y" with age, as is typical of pink rhinestones, but it is minor and could easily be replaced with new ones if that bothers you. Description: ART Triple Strand Glass Pearl Bracelet with Fancy Clasp/Matching Earrings - One of the interesting things about ART is that it doesn't seem to have a particular "look" and it's offerings really ran the gamut. This elegant, probably 1960's set is of very nice quality with 3-dimensional goldtone metal florals centered with a paved silvertone "cone", with the bracelet echoing the earrings in the clasp. Three strands of glass pearls are held in place by goldtone metal sections. The earrings are clip, about 1 1/8" in diameter, with the ART and © on the earring body rather than on the clip finding. The bracelet is unmarked, with the fancy clasp hiding the push-in tongue, about 7 1/4" x approx. 1" wide, however, because of the diameter of the pearls, this will probably only fit an under 7" wrist. Description: Coro Clear Rhinestone Trembler Set - Coro used trembler mechanisms on their "quivering camelias" duettes and other designs as well, this is the first time I've seen this company use this in a design that is probably well into the 1950's. The clip earrings use goldtone shaped petals around a clear rhinestone set trembler; the brooch echoes the design using the same piece in the center and then surrounding it with large clear rhinestone marquises alternating with clear rounds. The earrings are approximately 1" in diameter, while the brooch is 2". The tremblers all operate nicely; the only condition issue is a couple of the trembler rhinestones are a little dull, otherwise everything is in wonderful shape, with the brooch rhinestones being of great quality. Necklace has five slightly graduated leaves in front; side chains are open links, with a spring ring clasp, 17" x 3/4" (I think you could use the spring ring clasp up higher on the chain if you wanted a shorter length, though technically speaking this isn't an adjustable choker.) Description: Cameo Bracelet with Matching Pendant (No Chain) - Carved cameos of unknown material that is not man made, but exactly what it is I don't know. When held up to the light and viewed from the back, the cameo heads can be seen, so the material is translucent, not opaque, and carving markings and irregularities in the shape of the material determine this to be a natural material. The cameos appear to be set in brass? and the matching filigree connectors may or may not be hand wrought. I feel that this was not made in the US but I have no proof of that. The bracelet is 6 1/2" x 3/4" with a hook/eye clasp; the pendant is 1 1/4" x 7/8". The oval jump ring attached to the pendant top appears gold filled but is not marked. Excellent condition. Description: Heart Shaped Gold Filled Locket with Rose and Green Gold Floral - Signed inside, Walter E. Hayward Co., Attleboro, MA, and goldfilled markings, this locket looks to have never been used. Locket itself measures 1" x 1". Chain is apparently not original, about 22" plus an additional tail extender that does not look original to the chain, nor does the lobster claw clasp look original to the chain. Price is based on the locket. The Walter E. Hayward Company apparently came into being around 1904, succeeding Hayward and Sweet. I would guess this piece to be no later than 1940. Description: La Mode Sweetheart Expansion Bracelet and Heart Locket Necklace - This is quite a collector's piece, with both the necklace and bracelet in their original presentation box. The box is in fair shape, with some damage to the exterior top and corrosion to metal frame on the side. Interesting to note that this box actually has a patent number for the design of the box! Interior is a cream watermarked silk inside the lid, bottom is a crushed purple velvet which matches the box lid exterior. (Interior is in very good shape.) Expansion bracelet is marked La Mode in script on the inside of the band and appears to have not been worn, just a little metal wear on one knob. Matching heart locket has the two flowers motif done in "pink gold". Chain is 18", with nice quality thumbless ring clasp. Back of locket has interesting engine turned design. Interior of locket may be marked but it has two pictures of a man, circa 1930? that may be covering them, and I don't wish to remove the pictures. Description: Trifari Red Lozenge Stone and Enamel Star Flower Fur Clip - At about 3 1/4" x 1 3/4", this is one of the larger of the 1940's Trifari clips, and was produced in most of the jeweltone colors. The red unfoiled glass stones are absolutely beautiful and would be difficult if not impossible to replace. Pave work looks to be all original and in excellent shape; burgundy and pink enameling is chipped on the center stem and slightly worn at high points other places. Description: Coro Blue/Multi Enamel/RS Bird Duette - Coro made a number of bird duette designs and seems to have had variations in color or components in most of them. Similiar to Calipsotta but smaller, this has a small pave section on each bird's breast but the rest of the piece, with the exception of the eyes and the flower centers, is enameled. As you can see from the closeup, the beautiful use of color - aqua to blue, with yellow and a pink-purple subtly added in, plus the multi colored flowers, multi green leaves, and brown branches, add up to miniature works of art. Excellent original condition, with almost no enamel loss. Fur clip mechanisms, duette frame is marked Coro duette in script under the left fur clip and Pat. No. 1798867 under the right (not pictured); part of the hole for the clip has cut off about the upper third of the signature but it is still visible under close scrutiny. Description: Coro Floral Duette with Enamel and Rhinestones - This duette is somewhat unusual in that it is goldtone rather than silvertone, the dark blue enameling has a bit of a metallic look to it, and this uses both clear and colored rhinestones. Description: Nov-e-line Link Bracelet with Blue, Clear, and Red Stones - While this kind of "watchband" look is typical of Nov-e-line bracelets, the fact that there are two large stones at the center instead of one is rather unusual. Note that the table on the stone is set at a 45 degree angle instead of running parallel to the edges as modern stones do. The colored baguettes on the side links alternate between red and blue, with the other stones being bead hand set rounds. This has quite a bit of patina and could probably be polished to a lighter silvertone, but I will leave that to the buyer's discretion. Description: Medium Aqua (Turquoise) Rhinestone Expansion Bracelet - Three row style in a not common color; these stones have more intensity than many aqua colored pieces from this same time frame (circa 1950). Inside of bracelet shows some plate wear from rubbing while worn but nothing out of the ordinary, outside is great. 5/8" wide, 1 3/4" inner diameter unstretched. This fits my small wrist very well, and would probably work equally well for an average size. Larger wrists would probably not find this uncomfortable, however, two much stretching might wreck the look when worn. Description: Three Strand Glass Pearl Bracelet with Fancy Floral Metal/RS Clasp - Elegant but not run-of-the-mill, this bracelet features three strands of high quality glass pearls separated by goldtone bead spacers; pearl color is a medium cream, with a slightly mellowed appearance that makes these look so much better than "brand new". Goldtone stirated leaves/petals are centered with a clear rhinestone pave set semi-circular silvertone piece that makes this look like a flower starting to open. Hidden push in v-clasp. Small to average wrist, this was difficult to measure accurately, but the pearl strands together measure about 7/8", with the floral about 1 3/4" at widest point. Clasp is to be worn on top of wrist. Description: Enameled Metal Floral and Rhinestone Necklace -This kind of 1940's primitive look reminds me of some Haskell designs but I am in no way incinuating that this is a Haskell piece. It is simply a great statement necklace, using 5 florals with brown enameled petals, a dentelle cut topaz colored rhinestone, multi-prong set, green enamel accent leaves, and a goldtone heavier style chain with foldover clasp. Foldover clasp shows plate wear (see photo) but the rest of the chain is in good shape. Enamel on florals is very good with just a few miniscule dings and a little edge wear. Green leaves show more wear but are still good (leaves are actually silvertone!). I believe this is mid-40's based on the fact that while the topaz rhinestones are fancy cut, they feel like the plastic stones used when glass stones were no longer available. 15 3/4" length, center flower is 1 1/2" at widest point. Description: Jonquil Yellow Shoebutton Pendant Necklace with Black Enameled Leaves - Occasionally I see these attributed as early Trifari (kTf), but while this is similar to a patented Trifari design, it is not the same, just an "of the time" copy with enough changes to avoid patent infringement. Seven light yellow cabochons are centered with clear rhinestones, with more tiny rhinestones in the surrounding metal frame, and topped with two silvertone leaves that have been enameled black whilst leaving the veins bare so they can be seen. Silvertone chain is about 18", pendant portion is 2" x 1 1/2". This is approximately 75 years old, and the rhinestones in the surrounding metal have various amounts of greying as would be expected of a piece of this age. Other than that I see no problems. Description: Jonquil and Topaz Rhinestone Necklace and Earrings Set - A complex design in what I believe was originally a very expensive set, this uses jonquil baguettes, tapered baguettes, octagons and rounds and goldtone topaz rounds, baguettes and a single large pear. Push-in fancy rhinestone set clasp with a safety chain (almost unheard of on necklaces). Earrings have do-nut hole clips, and are 1 1/4" x 7/8". Necklace is 16", 2 1/4" center drop. My monitor makes the colors look darker than they are in person, the yellow is lighter and the topaz is not orangey. Condition is excellent but it appears that the necklace pendant drop may have been pulled off and re-soldered on, the repair looks solid, and it also looks like someone may have decided to stabilize the top and bottom baguettes on the earrings with extra solder as well. I took huge closeups and I think you can see the work done. The necklace is very showy and flattering. Wonderful set with repairs as noted, done before I obtained the set. This uses pink, opaque pink, lavender, red, purple aurora borealis and clear rhinestones, as well as round and pear shaped goldtone filigree beads. The earrings are 1 3/4" x 7/8", and the necklace is adjustable to 15 1/2", rhinestone set nice quality hook. Longer front dangles on necklace are about 1 1/2". Description: Light Sapphire Blue Faux Moonstone and Rhinestone Bracelet and Earrings - This was sold to me as a set, upon close examination this is a marriage so I am selling the bracelet and throwing the earrings in as a "go with"; the oval moonstones on the earrings are larger than the bracelet, and the stones are chatons rather than dentelles; colorwise they do match in all respects. The bracelet uses 8mm dentelles alternating with the oval glass moonstone cabs; the borders are set with 6mm dentelles- 48 to be exact, plus a baguette set push in clasp and safety chain. About 7 1/2" x 7/8", silvertone setting. Earrings are clip, about 1 1/4" x 1". All excellent condition. The blue rhinestones in the bracelet are particularly lovely. Description: Arum Rhinestone Brooch and Earrings Set - Gold metallic (arum) rhinestone pieces are not common; those that were produced circa 1960 were usually signed Weiss and manufactured by Hollycraft. These were expensive specialty stones; there are literally hundreds of small arum rhinestones in this set. The brooch is almost a sunflower design, with a domed center, 2" in diameter. The clip "peacock" earrings are 2" x 3/4" at widest points. Excellent condition, these did not photograph particularly well, but have a subtle shimmer, like a goldtone version of marcasites.
